Living in the Treasure Valley offers so many opportunities to enjoy life. From Boise, it's only 16 miles to the nearest ski resort, Bogus Basin. Take a short drive and you'll have access to scenic river rafting or challenging rough water for kayaking. There's a multitude of public and private golf courses in the area. You can go horseback riding, hiking, downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, iceskating, boating, waterskiing, canoeing, camping, fishing, rock climbing, hunting, and much much more.
Scenic McCall situated on the banks of Payette Lake is home to a very popular ski resort, Brundage Mountain. It's a two-hour drive and is also a popular weekend getaway for valley residents. Many own second homes or cabins there. It's home to the annual Winter Carnival with it's fascinating ice sculptures and the annual summer Payette Lake Regatta. The famous gold rush town of Idaho City is 30 minutes away where you'll enjoy a fun and educational look into Idaho's history. We're close to the famous and unspoiled Frank Church Wilderness area where you can hike or pack for days and never see another person, as well as Sun Valley and Ketchum, in the shadow of Bald Mountain, a well-known international ski and vacation destination.
